Town Centre Remodel at Morpeth

The £30 million scheme redevelopment is currently on site and includes refurbishing the existing Sanderson Arcade and Back Riggs areas with a high quality, glass covered Edwardian style mall.  This will create new 24 shops, with 40,000 sq ft of offices at first floor level.

The scheme also encompasses a large extension to the existing Morrisons supermarket with enhanced links to the new shopping area and the Market Square

Transport into the town will be improved with a new bus interchange, while the short stay car parking has been redesigned to provide one centrally managed car park.  A new long stay car park with 107 spaces has already been created.
