Alexandra Park complete at Tunstall

Work is complete on the Alexandra Park development in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, with retailer Carphone Warehouse already open for business.

Alexandra Park also houses a further 1,500 sq ft retail unit, a 50,000 sq ft health and leisure club and 160 parking spaces.

It is adjacent to the Jasper Square shopping centre which was also designed by wcec and is home to leading retailers such as Argos, Next and Matalan.

A 24 ft stainless steel sculpture The Tunstall Shard designed by award winning sculptor Robert Erskine will be installed in Alexandra Park in January to celebrate the area's rich pottery heritage .

Further development phases for the site include new offices and medical facilities for the regions Primary Care Trust, additional parking, highway remodelling and improvements to the local green space.
