WCEC Architects officially one of the best!

WCEC Architects officially one of the best!

3 March 2008

WCEC Architects in Chesterfield is officially one of the best places to work after achieving a star rating in the prestigious Best Companies Michelin style accreditation process.

The practice has been awarded one star accreditation, which means it is recognised as a first class organisation in terms of leadership, team working, staff development and employee satisfaction.  The scoring puts the architects in the Top 100 professional companies to work for in the UK.

Over 600 companies throughout the country entered this year, with just 55 per cent receiving a star rating.  This year was the first time that WCEC registered with Best Companies, so receiving a star rating is a real accolade for the practice.

The accreditation reflects WCECs heavy investment in training and development over the past two years, which has aligned personal development to the practices business objectives.

The emphasis on training and development has also been recognised regionally, with WCEC securing a Sheffield Chamber of Commerce Business Award and making it to the finals of the Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

Alex Wall, partner at WCEC, said: This is a fantastic achievement for the practice, and confirms that our recent investment in workforce development has paid off.  Our staff are our greatest asset, and a well motivated and highly skilled team is essential if we are to continue our growth.
