New Sheffield United Corner Stand Completed

Award winning local Architects WCEC have ensured that Sheffield United were ready for Premiership action by completing the new 2000 seat corner stand at the Bramall Lane stadium.
The new stand which joins the existing South and Bramall Lane stands increases capacity at the ground to almost 33,000. It is known as the Westfield Health stand in recognition of its sponsors and provides an unrestricted view of the pitch. It also features additional seats for disabled supporters and a concourse behind the stand houses catering bars and toilets.
WCEC Architects have also assisted the club by designing a roof extension for the Bramall Lane stand which has also been completed over the summer. This will provide additional wet weather protection for fans in this area.

We are proud to have helped the club prepare for its new season in the premiership and we wish the club and all the players every success in the premiership.
Chesterfield based WCEC Architects are also looking at other developments for the club including the new 149 bed-roomed four-star hotel incorporating a leisure centre, restaurants and bars. This major regeneration scheme provides a dramatic modern architectural design and is expected to start on site early next year.
