Planning Approved For Sheffield United Hotel

A new four star hotel will be built on the corner of Bramall Lane and Cherry Street following approval granted by Sheffield City planners.
The 146 bed-roomed four-star hotel incorporating a leisure centre, restaurants and bars has been designed by award winning Derbyshire based WCEC Architects. This major regeneration scheme has been developed in consultation with Sheffield City Council and provides a dramatic modern architectural design.
The hotel development offers a major economic boost for Sharrow and the surrounding area and will create a substantial number of local jobs.
WCEC Architects have been involved in recent significant redevelopments occurring at Sheffield United and their latest project, a new 2000 seat Corner Stand between the Bramall Lane and Global Windows South Stand is currently on site. It is anticipated that the construction of the hotel will begin in the autumn.
