wcec have been working on the next phase of the regeneration of Langley Mill. This latest addition to the area sees the construction of a new McDonald's restaurant situated on land opposite the ASDA food store which wcec completed at the end of last year. The application was submitted in January 2011 with a decision being made in March of this year. If successful, it is proposed that the restaurant will be opened prior to Christmas 2011.
"We always envisaged that the ASDA scheme would act as a catalyst, creating new opportunities for Langley Mill. We are delighted to be working on this next phase of re-development and look forward to seeing the area prosper from these new interventions".
